Building Financial Clarity Through Data Intelligence

We started netstreamportal in 2019 because we kept seeing the same problem. Business owners had mountains of financial data but no practical way to understand what it meant for their decisions. Spreadsheets everywhere, conflicting reports, and questions that took weeks to answer.

Real Problems, Practical Solutions

We focus on making complex financial data accessible and actionable for everyday business decisions.

How We Actually Got Here

The honest story? Henrik spent eight years watching small manufacturing businesses in Jeonju struggle with financial planning. Not because they lacked data but because nobody could translate quarterly reports into answers about whether they should hire someone or invest in new equipment.

Casper came from a different angle. He'd been building analytics tools for larger corporations and kept thinking about how much of that capability was out of reach for smaller operations. The tools existed but they were expensive and complicated.

So in early 2019, we started simple. Can we take a month's worth of someone's financial records and give them back three actionable insights? Turns out we could. And people actually used them to make decisions.

By mid-2020, we'd worked with 40 businesses. By 2023, that number hit 200. Now we're helping companies across manufacturing, retail, and service sectors understand their financial patterns and plan more confidently.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't aspirational statements. They're the principles we actually use when deciding how to build tools and work with clients.

Clarity Over Complexity

Financial analysis can get incredibly detailed. But if a business owner can't understand what we're showing them in 10 minutes, we've failed. We prioritize explanations that lead to decisions rather than impressive charts that sit in folders.

Context Matters More Than Numbers

A 12% margin decrease means completely different things for a seasonal retailer versus a manufacturing operation. We spend time understanding business models before making recommendations because generic advice rarely helps anyone.

Tools Should Adapt to Businesses

We don't force companies to change their entire accounting process to fit our system. Instead, we work with the data structures they already have and find ways to extract meaningful patterns from their existing records.

Honest About Limitations

Sometimes the data doesn't support a clear answer. Sometimes external factors matter more than internal metrics. We'll tell you when analysis reaches its limits and when you need different information to make a decision.

Our Analysis Method

We've refined this process over six years and hundreds of client engagements. It balances thoroughness with practical timeline constraints.

Six Core Steps We Follow

1
Business Model Assessment

We spend 2-3 hours understanding how your business actually operates, revenue patterns, cost structures, and seasonal factors that influence performance.

2
Data Integration Setup

We connect with your existing accounting systems and transaction records, mapping them to our analysis framework without disrupting your current processes.

3
Historical Pattern Review

We analyze 12-36 months of financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and relationships between different business metrics.

4
Scenario Modeling

Based on identified patterns, we model different business scenarios to understand potential outcomes of strategic decisions.

5
Recommendation Development

We translate analysis into 3-5 specific, actionable recommendations with projected impacts and implementation considerations.

6
Ongoing Monitoring Setup

We establish key metrics to track and create dashboards that let you monitor business health without constant manual analysis.

The People Behind the Analysis

Small team, intentionally. We believe in doing fewer projects well rather than scaling too quickly and losing the detailed attention that makes our work useful.

Henrik Østergaard, Chief Financial Strategist

Henrik Østergaard

Chief Financial Strategist

Henrik's background is in manufacturing finance, which means he understands inventory valuation, production costing, and supply chain impacts on cash flow. He handles most of our initial client assessments because he's good at asking the right questions about how businesses actually work rather than just looking at numbers.

Casper Lindström, Analytics Director

Casper Lindström

Analytics Director

Casper builds the analytical models and tools that turn financial data into patterns we can understand. He has a statistics background but learned business finance through working with real companies. He's particularly interested in finding insights that aren't obvious from standard financial reports.
